Origin:
The March 18th in lunar calendar is the birthday of the queen of earth. Two cypress tresses of Ehuan and Yinghuang who are concubines of the emperor Shun imply harmony, filial piety and other family virtues. Therefore, every year people go to Tandao Temple to pay their respect and wish for harmonious life.
