Name: Fanzhou Buddhist Pagoda in Yanhu District, Yuncheng City
Producing Time: the 2nd year of Changqing Period in Tang Dynasty (822 AD)
Height: about 10m
Production process: On top of the pogoda, it is first decorated with a circle of brick carvings with diamond-edged patterns, and then stacked with twelve layers of bricks beyond the pogoda for the tower eaves. Since the single-story round brick pagoda is the only surviving one of the Tang Dynasty, it was selected into textbooks such as History of Ancient Chinese Architecture and Chinese Ming Pagoda. Fanzhou Buddhist Pagoda not only has a unique shape and a long history, but also has high scientific value and unique artistic value, which contains profound cultural connotation.
