1. What is the riding code?
Riding code is a QR code for taking public transport. For now, the Tencent riding code is available in Yuncheng City. After applying and activating the riding code, you only need to open the riding code Mini program within the WeChat App, then closely aim it to the bus scanning equipment to scan the code. After hearing the indicative tone of successful scanning, then you can take the bus and enjoy a more convenient travel.
2. What are the requirements for the phone model?
The riding code service is available for all smartphones with WeChat App installed.
3. Can the riding code be used in other cities?
Yes, as long as Tencent riding code service is available in the city, it can be used there. Please notice that you may need to apply the local riding codes in different cities. For example, Yuncheng riding code can only be used in Yuncheng. If you go to Xi'an, you need to switch the code to”Chang’antong riding code”.
You can enter the Mini Program and click “Yuncheng” at the top of the homepage to switch to other cities.
4. How to use the riding code?
When using it for the first time, there are the following ways:
Way 1: Enter “Tencent riding code” in the search box of WeChat Homepage.
Way 2: Open WeChat-click [Discover] -click [Mini Programs] - search “Tencent riding code”.
Way 3: Open the WeChat official account of “Tencent Riding Code”-click [Scanning code for riding]
When you successfully open the account of Tencent riding code, in addition to the above ways, you can also open the riding code in WeChat [Me] - [Cards & Offers].
After the code is successfully scanned, the device will emit a prompt tone to indicate a successful scan, the device screen on the bus will also have corresponding message. After a successful scan of your code, you can take the bus/Metro without waiting for the “successful payment” page.
5. How is the security of the riding code?
The riding code is dynamically refreshed, adopts multiple encryption anti-counterfeiting technology, which can effectively prevent counterfeiting and misappropriation, and ensure the security of your money. Please feel relieved to use it.
6. Can the riding code be used normally when the mobile phone has no network?
At present, the system supports the riding code service in the case of no network. After the code is successfully scanned, the riding fee will be deducted later while network is available.
7. Why is there a limit on the number of daily uses?
The daily usage number limit is a way to keep your money safe and prevent others from using your own code to steal your money. Currently, the number of daily uses is limited to 20 times. After reaching 20 times, you code will not be capable to use on that day.
8. Can I use the riding code after my bank card is untied from my WeChat?
Your WeChat wallet needs to be bound with a bank card when you open the riding code service. If you untie the bank card after successful opening, you can still use the riding code service; and the money will be deducted firstly from [Balance] of your WeChat Wallet. But if the money in your [Balance] is insufficient, you will not be able to continue using the service.
9. How to change the method of payment?
Click in order [Me]-[Pay]-[Payment Management] at the top of right corner-[Auto-Deduction Service ] to change the preferential deduction method. Note: If you turn off the automatic deduction function, you will not be able to use the riding code.
10. How to fix the push notification of unpaid order when you have paid off the fare?
Usually this is due to network delay, exit the mini program and wait a moment. Reenter the mini app in a few minutes and see if the status is updated. If it is still not updated, please take a screenshot of the transaction details containing the order information, click “Consult Customer Service” to submit the information, we will further deal with it.
11. Why do you still receive a notice of delayed deduction when you don't take a bus at present?
The mode of “ride first, then deduct money” is adopted for the riding code. The specific deduction time is related to the networking status of your device. If the networking status of your device is delayed, the deduction may be delayed. This deduction is your previous ride order, which is a normal notice. You can enter the Mini Program “Tencent Riding Code”-[Personal Center]-[Ride Record] to inquire about the previous corresponding ride records, transaction details and ride time.
